Geography
Northern Adelaide. Lee covers the suburbs of Birkenhead, Exeter, Glanville, Hendon, Semaphore Park, Seaton, Semaphore South, Tennyson, West Lakes, West Lakes Shore and Royal Park.
Redistribution
Lee shifted to the east, taking in Hendon from Cheltenham and losing Grange to Colton. These changes increased the Labor margin from 3.8% to 5.2%.
History
Lee was created at the 1993 election. The seat was first won by the Liberal Party’s Joe Rossi in 1993, and was then won by the ALP’s Michael Wright in 1997.
Michael Wright was re-elected in 2002, 2006 and 2010. He served as a minister from 2002 to 2011.
Wright retired in 2014, and Labor’s Stephen Mullighan won Lee. Mullighan was re-elected in 2018.

Labor won a majority of the two-party-preferred vote in two areas, with 55.1% in the south and 62% in the east. The Liberal Party won 50.6% in the north.
SA-Best came third, with a primary vote ranging from 12.5% in the north to 12.9% in the east.
